Big Mess

The current state of my room with a crapload of paintings and a huge mess. The big sky painting in the back is for my cousin, and it's almost done but not quite. The weird fancyful bird creature is
something I started last night at 3am, and I'm not really sure why but it came out of my sketchbook. 

Here's the original ballpoint pen sketch from my sketchbook, and a work in progress of the painting. 

A close-up of my finished painting. I want to do some more animals and graffiti so there will be more of that coming!

Studies

Some studies in charcoal and pencil I did in art class, they are based on other artist's drawings which I would reference if they had said their names in the art book, but it was just some random asian books so I'm sorry I can't reference them T_T

Anyways doing these studies have taught me about lighting and how to shade different types of surfaces.

Imagination Channel - Steps

This is something I always forget to post but I thought might be interesting. These are some work in progress screenshots of how I paint and stuff. I started off with some concept sketches and at first I wanted the feeling of a really big, like cavernous space, so I made the kid really tiny as you can see in the first couple steps. Then I realized the focus was so unclear so I painted him larger and tried harder to make him the focal point.

This is the finished product, which I think captured what was in my head pretty well, but I wish I could have done better still. 

Pink Sketch

Largest Piece I've ever done!

This is a piece I created for my last project in Art IB and I wanted to end with something big and awesome. It's 1.2m by 1.2m and done with scrap paper and wheatpaste.

Hi so I don't really know what blogging is. But then again, what is life?
Anycows... I made this blob for my art that will have random things and inspiring crap and tomatos and potatos. Let's start off with some pages from my sketchbook, which I carry eerywhere 24/7 oh shit. Enjoyyy! I will now femme la bouche.
